SONIA RYKIEL AW 14

Images from Vogue

Miranda Kerr just makes everything that little bit more beautiful doesn't she? That being said, these first few looks from the Sonia Rykiel show are gorgeous in their own right. The whole collection appealed to that part of me that longs to be sophisticated and lady-like but which stubbornly refuses to give up trainers. Maybe 2014 should be the year to embrace my sophisticated side...

LATE NIGHT

Images from Tumblr

Apparently late at night is when I get my best inspiration...its just a shame I need to be up for work in a few hours #helpmecaffeine.

Snake, fur, leather, black, white, crops, oversized everything, turtlenecks...this is my sartorial equivalent of a kid in a candy store. SO much love.

AllSaints appear to have taken a change in direction look-wise for next season. These images are a departure from their previous earthy tones and rock'n'roll edge. The whole aesthetic is more polished and contemporary, yet is still identifiably AllSaints. The black and the leather haven't gone anywhere, but there is a distinctly modern feel to this look, with previously unused gold and grey tones coming into the mix. Autumn just got interesting.

ARGH could this be any more perfect? Masculine cuts, leather, oversized turtlenecks, sneakers...its kind of  luxe streetwear, and I'm in love. The whole collection has serious attitude, but in that nonchalant, enviably effortless way. Bonus points awarded for the purple lips and mad antler/twig style jewellery.

WHISTLES A/W 14/15

Beautiful clean lines at whistles, with a giant furry coat thrown in for good measure. Whistles, I like the way you think.

Daniela Barros AW 14

These images from the Daniela Barros AW 14 show prove that London Fashion Week isn't just about homegrown talent. This collection was part of the Portugal Fashion show held by Fashion Scout, who are renowned for discovering outstanding emerging designers and international talent. Barros' designs were full of geometric shapes, graphic lines and structured silhouettes. I'm loving the blue and white geometric ensemble. Seriously inspiring.
