COORDINATES

Bomber Jacket - Topman, Crop Top - Topshop, Skirt - H&M, Clutch - Juno

I have been loving all of the coordinates which have been appearing lately as a huge trend for S/S. All of the ones I'd seen were patterned and colorful, and as someone who favours the plainer things in life, I wasn't feeling anything too garish. So I made my own! Well I say made...I found some very basic separates from Topshop and H&M and whacked them together. Add a clutch and a bomber and you're done. When I'm feeling a little more exciting perhaps I'll invest in something a bit brighter. But for now, I'm pretty content with this.

WISHLIST #2

WISHLIST #2

Monki blazer, $90 / Monki pants, $35 / New Balance yellow canvas shoes / Topshop slide sandals

Just a few of my wants/needs for spring. It's been great to shed a couple of  layers/lose the umbrella, but I have seemingly nothing to bridge the gap between winter and summer. Which is where this Monki blazer comes in...

TOMBOY

Bomber Jacket - Topman, Tank top - Superdry, Mom jeans - Topshop, Back Pack - New Look, Sandals - New Look

This Topman bomber is so much better than any womenswear equivalent I've found. I pinched it from my brother and pretended I'd bought it myself, so it had the added bonus of being free. These mom jeans have been in my life for a year and have adapted amazingly well to all seasons and occasions, so 10/10 for those too.

CHECKMATE

Jumper - Topshop, Jacket - Topshop, Trousers - H&M,  Back Pack - New Look

This is probably the closest to print I'll ever get. These H&M trousers (or 'slacks' as they're called on the website) were a bargain and fit surprisingly well - perfect skinniness around the ankle but not too tight around the hips. This trusty Topshop jumper has been in my life for years. I throw it on at any opportunity, and really, it could do with replacing. But it's got to that perfect level of bagginess only achieved through frequent wear and tear, and I kind of can't bear to let it go. I think that's what they call true love.

On a side note, the last two posts have been without shoes as I had hurt one of my toes and have been wearing some very unattractive, comfy shoes. However, shoes will be appearing from now on...

SIMPLICITY

Top - ASOS, Trousers - Primark, Jacket - Topshop,

I'm obsessed with monochrome right now (my polyvore is a pretty clear indication of that) and am wearing it an alarming amount. I'm in love with this top, even though it gets stuck on my head every freaking time I take it on and off - neoprene does not like to stretch. Also thank you to whoever invented the smart jogger. I'm just waiting for the smart onesie and slippers to be invented now.

Hope you're all having a chilled Sunday!

TEASER

White Top - Missguided, Turtleneck (just seen) - Primark, Skirt - H & M, Necklace - Primark

Here is a little photo reel from shooting my first outfit post. Actual images will be up over the next few days, watch this space...

6 OF THE BEST...SPORT LUXE

6 of the best...sport luxe

The Ragged Priest mesh shirt, $58 / Topshop white top / Topshop activewear pants / Topshop shorts / Topshop clothing / H&m shoes, $33

If pyjamas were acceptable day-wear, I'd wear little else. Sometimes, squeezing myself into my skinny jeans at 7:30 in the morning seems like the most unappealing task. However, seeing as I have to leave the house looking vaguely acceptable, these stylish but comfortable basics will have to do. These are my current favourite picks inspired by the sport luxe trend, seen everywhere from Tommy Hilfiger to Balenciaga. An even bigger plus is that these are all under £100. Don't say I never treat you.

5 OF THE BEST...SLIDE-ON SANDALS

5 of the best...Slide-on Sandals

River Island miniature mule, / Zara sandals / Topshop leather slide sandals / Zara leather sandals / ASOS white open toe shoes

Slide-on sandals have been on my radar for some time now, but with winter being, well, winter, sandals aren't up there on my go-to footwear list. And those who haven't got a designer budget like myself needn't worry. These high street versions are equally as impressive and far less financially catastrophic. My main issue is that I want all of them, which somewhat defeats the point of finding budget version in the first place...

WHITE COAT

Wishlist - Monochrome

Wishlist - Monochrome

H M long sleeve crop top, $42 / Alexander Wang short sleeve shirt, $590 / Topshop leather pants / Faux-leather shorts / Lace soft bra, $48 / Topshop backpacks bag / Topshop cuff bracelet / Luv Aj band ring

I am into slouchy leather everything right now/always, ideally paired with cosy basics and minimal accessories. The ultimate no fuss outfit. OH and a giant umbrella to fend off all this rain. Tempted not to leave the house as some kind of protest, but this would undoubtedly see me becoming a recluse as it looks set to stay. At least leather is kind of waterproof...?
